Our new 'Plant Index' page lists all the plants we expect to have available for the 2010 shipping season. |
You will find hundreds of plant nurseries on the Internet. Only a few though, might offer higher quality perennials at prices lower than ours. Along with striving to produce high quality perennials at competitive prices, we also try hard to offer many garden worthy perennials that are often difficult to find at other plant nurseries. Also offered on our web site are garden stakes, hummingbird feeders, and oriole feeders. Enjoy your visit to our web site! |

| When frost
kills the annuals, plant next summer's
flower garden......Go Perennials! Fall is a great time to plant perennials because.... ~ The soil temperature is warmer in fall than it is in spring. Warm soil promotes fast, strong root growth. ~ The shorter days and cooler nights of fall reduces the severity and length of transplant shock. ~ Since many insects are going dormant for the season, fall planting reduces the risk of insect attack and plant damage. ~ Fall planting reduces the load of springtime gardening chores. Many people have more time to plant perennials in September than they do in May. ~Because the root systems of perennials grow rapidly during the fall season, you will be pleasantly surprised by how much larger your plants are when they begin to grow next spring. |

We ship
perennials from May through October and offer two ways to order: |
We do
not publish a printed catalog.
Our inventory of perennials changes on a regular basis during the growing season
(May thru October). The plant species we offer in May differs from what we
offer in July, and what we offer in July is different from what we offer in
September. Because our inventory changes from month to month, a catalog just would
not work for our business. Our web site functions as our catalog.
