Several Pugsters

Pugster butterfly bushes were great, arrived exactly as advertised, and have already established and started thriving a month after planting. Highly recommend this seller.

Disappointed

They thrived all summer ( spring planting), looked gorgeous going into winter. This spring 3 are dead and one has on 2 branches with leaves. I have had GREAT success with Great Garden plants before and since. I am at a loss.

Hi Kelley, We're sorry to hear about your Butterfly Bush. These plants are notorious for pushing out spring growth late (this can as late as June in some places). Do you see any emerging buds? The best way to know if your plant is truly dead is to look at the stems. Alive stems are firm and have a green cast when you cut or scrape them. If the stems are dry and brittle, they are dead. However, a few dead branches does not mean the entire bush is dead. Be thorough with checking all the stems. If you still have questions or concerns, please email claims@greatgardenplants.com and we can help you further. Happy Gardening!

Love this little butterfly bush

My small yard cannot handle a standard size butterfly bush, so this little guy is perfectly sized and delivers large blooms. This white one is new to me and has not had time to root in and bloom yet but if it performs like my other Pugsters, it will be a star!

Love these plants!

These little gems are nicely petite and compact, yet their blooms are grand and are lasting here in my area even now at the end of October! They lighten and brighten my garden with robust flowers and this with only 4 - 5 hours of daily sun. Plus, deer and rodents stay away from them. Unlike the larger specimens, these plants retain a symmetrical shape and do not spread by reseeding invasively. The plants arrived in excellent health and size, reaching maturity in a couple of months. I have nothing but high praise for these pugsters!
