Thoughts so far on butterfly bushes

When I received the plants, they were looking pretty rough. The soil was dry and the plants looked like they were going to die. I gave them water and let them sit for a couple days. They did perk up. I planted them, but upon seeing the roots, didn’t hold out much hope that they would live. They are still alive! I hope they stay alive. Was disappointed in the condition they arrived in though. Other places do better. Not sure I will try again with them or not. We shall see!

Pugster Butterfly bush

Love them. They flower and you don't have to deadhead them. they are compact so you really don't have to trim them. And even the leaf without the flower is attractive.
