Verbena stricta is a native perennial with tall, narrow flower panicles that are packed with purple flowers! It's long-blooming, with flowers blooming from May to September. Flowers start blooming at the bottom of the bottom and gradually move upwards. Bees, butterflies, and moths flock to the blooms for their rich nectar. It serves as a host plant for Sallow Moths and the Common Buckeye Butterfly.

This native prairie plant grows well in well-draining soil. It's deer resistant, tolerant to dry soils, and hardy to zone 4, making it fairly effortless to grow! Add it to your garden to give pollinators a sweet treat.
