Arctic Fire Yellow red-twig dogwood is the cure for the wintertime blues! Like our other native red-twig dogwoods (Cornus sericea), it lights up the winter landscape with brightly colored stems, but this gives you a cheery yellow option. Extremely durable and native to North America, this shade tolerant, deer resistant, durable flowering shrub beautifies the landscape all year round and its foliage hosts the larvae of the spring azure butterfly.

Plant size: 4-5' tall and  6' wide

Light: full sun (6+ hrs/day), part sun (4-6 hrs/day). Can also be grown in shade, but will not take on as much winter color, nor will it be as attractive to butterflies for egg-laying.
