Pollinator Steward Certified

Pollinators are essential for natural ecosystems and food production, yet they are declining at an alarming rate due to factors including habitat loss, pesticide exposure, diseases and pests, and climate change. People and organizations want to help pollinators, yet actions to help pollinators are not always obvious and often misunderstood. 

Pollinator Partnership (P2) is the largest organization in the world dedicated solely to the conservation of pollinators. P2 developed and manages the Pollinator Steward Certification program in order to meet the need of a standardized and verified science-based pollinator steward training for individuals and organizations. The Pollinator Steward Certification shows that an individual or organization has completed the curriculum as set out by P2 (or by partners with approved curriculum) and has been active in at least one action in both, Habitat and Outreach. To meet the needs of different organizations' structure, size, and mission, P2 works directly with organizations to create individual criteria for the organization to meet in order to be certified at the organizational level as a P2 Certified Pollinator Steward. 

Butterflybushes.com Pollinator Steward Certification

To become a P2 Pollinator Steward Certified Organization, Butterflybushes.com has trained three staff, fully certified through the program. Training was based on the virtual Pollinator Steward Certification program in 2026. If future training is needed, this may be completed through the virtual Pollinator Steward Certification program or a customized training session. Staff who completed the training have completed and submitted projects to satisfy the Habitat and Outreach components of Certification to P2. This document officially designates Butterflybushes.com as a Pollinator Steward Certified organization through April 2027. 

Butterflybushes.com has permission to use the Pollinator Steward stamp files including but not limited to written and e-comrnunications, on websites, and in social media posts to show they are Certified. Linking posts and use of the stamp to the P2 website is encouraged. The Pollinator Steward stamp is the property of P2 and use of the stamp does not in any way imply a partnership or that the Certified individual or organization is an agent or representative of P2. The stamp should not be altered in any way unless approved by P2.
