Very impressed with the plant, it was about 10 inches tall, very healthy, a lot of life, well bushed out. Would argue of all the plants I got this year from 5 different vendors, this is the healthiest and liveliest. The packaging though... seems to have been done by someone too cautious unfortunately. They use the normal plastic bag around the pot and tie the top around the base of the plant stem but this person appears to have been too cautious afraid of tying it tight and the shipper was not delicate or they should've taped the top around the stem to prevent it from loosening. It was shipped sideways, as the plant jostled around with the loose tied bag it opened up the bag and the jostling caused soil to leak out, as there was less soil to lessen jostling it jostled more causing the bag to open even more and faster dirt to fall out which allowed it to jostle even more rinse and repeat. Pretty much the soil was in the box, with the plant and bare roots in the pot. In my experience, this means the roots have broken that very important connection with the soil to get moisture and it takes weeks to re-establish WHILE it having a luscious green top means high water evaporation. High water evaporation, with roots that have lost the connection to get much water for some weeks can kill the plant so I may need to cut the top/green way back so it doesn't dry out and roots have time to re-establish so it being the most beautiful I received is moot. I "think" it will survive this plant likes dry conditions just wish I didn't have to worry and watch for the next few weeks if the roots can re-establish before the top dries out the plant.
